Greed is a twisted, deformed monster
With froth dripping from its hideous jaws
The stench sends all fleeing from it;
The rancid, sour, sharp odor it carries
For miles its growls and bellows are heard
All who hear it wince and run the other way
Its taste is a burning hunger that sears the mouth
The victims can never again forget its foul taste
It feels like a powerful, burning desire,
But thats the mask that hides the beast
Greed is the color of a deep, dark crimson
An ever burning flame that only spreads
Greed lives in a quite place in every mans heart
It maliciously reaches its tendrils forward and corrupts the heart
As it slowly whispers its terrible, awful will
The prey has no choice but to obey the abomination
Greed is like a consuming torrent of fire
All who are captureed are doomed to flame eternal
If every man can recognize greed and kill it
Greed will at least posses one less pitiful soul
